Golf course pump system to be replaced

The POA is in the process of replacing the main golf course pump system. The current system, installed in 1996, is in need of replacement.

The new pump system will be more efficient and is anticipated to save a significant amount of energy. It will have a direct connection to a water line and will not draw water from the golf course lake as it currently does. A new pump house will be built near an existing reclaimed water line by hole 11 and will not draw water from the golf course lake as it currently does.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of summer. The projected cost of installing the new system is $116,000; however, the calculated water energy savings should pay for itself within three years.
