Canyon Lake Kids Club holds Graduation Ceremony

The Canyon Lake Kids Club held its Graduation Ceremony on May 29 at Indian Beach for the kids leaving the club to enter kindergarten. This year’s graduates are Mason Brown, Scarlett Hudspeth, Kingston Lothspeich, Dane Snider, Adam Steed and Aidan Susca.

Following the Graduation Ceremony, the Kids Club kicked off the summer with an end of year pool party and pizza on May 31 at the lodge pool.

The Kids Club will be on break for the summer. The program will resume in September. The Kids Club may have a couple of meetups during summer break. Dates to be determined.

“We’re really excited about next year’s program,” said Sara Card, who leads the program with Christie Hall. “With the success of this year’s field trips, we plan to incorporate more of them into next year’s program.”

The Kids Club is a program in which young children and their parents or grandparents enjoy a morning of crafts, music, exercise, games, sports and a snack for just $2 per session.

Those who purchase a 10-class punch card will receive two classes free. Punch cards can be purchased in class.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Pool View Room at the lodge. For more information, visit the club’s Facebook page at Canyon Lake Kids Club.
