Residents invited to family movie nights at pool, park

The POA invites residents and their guests to enjoy free movie nights at the pool and park this summer. All movies start at dusk.

Flick N Float Movie Nights kicked off last week with a movie at the pool. The community is invited to bring the family, a friend and a noodle or float and movies poolside on July 7 (Little Rascals) and Sept. 1 (The Parent Trap).

Children must be accompanied by an adult unless the child is over the age of 14 and has a valid POA card. Children over the age of 14 who have a valid POA card may bring one guest.

For safety reasons, there is a maximum capacity limit. Early arrival is recommended.

Movies in the park start on June 29 when Cars 3 will be featured at Indian Beach. Blankets and chairs are recommended. The remaining movie nights in the park will take place at Holiday Harbor Park on July 13 (Despicable Me 3), Aug. 10 (Mary Poppins), Aug. 24 (Moana) and Sept. 14 (Coco). With six levels of seating, the new amphitheater provides plenty of seating.

The Lighthouse Restaurant will be offering pizza to go before the movies.
