The 2018 Men’s Golf Club Championship was played over three days, June 1 through June 3, with a field of more than 50 players. All golfers competed in four Gross divisions and four Net divisions.
After three days of play, the four finalists went out Sunday afternoon for their second round of the day to compete in the championship round in temperatures around 100 degrees. The ultimate winner, Brandon Mojarro, won the prestigious Club Championship trophy by besting the field with outstanding play over four rounds of golf. This is Brandon’s fifth consecutive Club Championship and his eighth win since 2010.
The three other finalists are Marcus Schonabaum, Brett Geer and Larry Drew.
There were three Championship flights based on age. Marcus Schonabaum won the Senior Club Championship, Bruce Yarbrough won the Super Senior Championship and Fred Finger won the Masters Club Championship.

The awards were presented after the second round on Sunday. Lunch was prepared and served by the country club staff and the tournament planning and coordination was provided by the Men’s Club Tournament Chairman Jon Evans and Golf Pro Pat Kemball.
