The POA announced that Texas-born country pop artist Steven Cade will be the opening act for the Keith Anderson concert on Saturday, June 30, at the lodge.

Cade tours nationally and has been featured with Eric Church, Billy Currington, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Shania Twain and Gavin DeGraw, to name a few.

Cade infuses contemporary pop elements into country-influenced songs, creating a unique slant on traditional country music.

“My goal with my music is to help people get through challenges, while spreading a positive message,” said Cade.

The singer’s latest CD, “What I Really want to Say,” debuted on iTunes Top 100 Country Chart. He won the Durango Songwriter’s Expo for the song “Sum of Two Hearts” and won Best Country at the Wine Country Music Awards.

Taking the stage after Cade will be headliner Keith Anderson, a country music artist who has had several hit songs that include “Every Time I Hear Your Name” and “I Still Miss You.” Keith co-wrote the No. 1 smash hit “Lost in the Moment” for Big & Rich, which garnered him a CMA and ACM Song of the Year nomination. Keith’s success prompted music trades Billboard and Radio & Records to name him country music’s No. 1 New Male Artist of 2005.

There will be a Meet and Greet with Keith immediately following the concert.

General Admission tickets are $32, VIP tickets are $57. Tickets are on sale now at the POA office and on the POA website at canyonlakepoa.com.

Following this concert will be the POA’s final concert of the 2018 season. Back by popular demand, new wave band Berlin returns to Canyon Lake Sept. 15. Berlin’s performance will be a mix of the band’s 80s classics peppered with tracks from their latest release.
