Immediately following the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Happy Camp on Saturday, the POA held a Memorial Day weekend camp lottery for those wanting to spend Memorial Day weekend at the campground.
According to Happy Camp Staff, there were 120 entries and 55 campsites awarded.
Lottery tickets were given out at the campground office May 12 through May 18. Residents who enter the campground lotteries for Memorial Day weekend and 4th of July weekend must be in good standing with the POA. Upon winning, members must present a valid POA card and pay a $30 non-refundable deposit. There is a three-day minimum stay. Only one entry per tract-lot is allowed.
