Crews work to turn park hillside into amphitheater

Crews have been the past few weeks turning the hillside at Holiday Harbor park into a new amphitheater. The seating rows have been laid out and the concrete footings were poured. Once complete, there will be a new 20 feet by 30 feet stage and multi-level seating for viewing. The new amphitheater will serve as the perfect spot for both community events and private events.

The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild donated $25,000 towards the new amenity. The project is scheduled to be completed by June. A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 22. The ceremony will include a performance by a country-rock band sponsored by the Fine Arts Guild and a Movie Night sponsored by the POA.
