New Marine Patrol dock installed at Holiday Harbor

Installation of the new Marine Patrol dock at Holiday Harbor Park started last week. The new dock is for Marine Patrol boats only. The POA relocated the Marine Patrol office from Happy Camp to Holiday Harbor when the Happy Camp Construction Project started at the campground. “It’s a better location, they have better visibility all the way down the main lake and it’s more centrally located,” said POA General Manager Eric Kazakoff of the new location.

A new permanent Marine Patrol building will be built near the Holiday Harbor launch ramp. Construction is scheduled to start next week. The board approved $31,594 for the project in March.
