Fiesta Day committee seeking vendors, sponsors

Fiesta Day has been the “opening event for the summer” for more than 40 years and is one of Canyon Lake’s most well-attended community events with more than 5,000 people attending. The Fiesta Day Committee is seeking event sponsors, vendors, parade participants and volunteers for this year’s Fiesta Day on May 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sponsors

Four different sponsorship levels are available this year, starting at just $250. While each package is different, all sponsors will receive publicity through event promotional material and recognition at the event. Each sponsor will have advertising in the Canyon Lake Living Magazine and the Fiesta Day website at canyonlakefiestaday.org.

Additionally, sponsors have the opportunity to market their services to the more than 5,000 spectators that come out for the event.

Platinum Sponsor $1,000 – Sponsors in this category receive an event booth link to sponsor website on Fiesta Day website, a 6-ft. by 10-ft. banner that will be displayed at the event for the best exposure and at Taco Tuesday, logo on large event banner at event and logo displayed on event promotional material.

Diamond Sponsor $750 – Sponsors in this category receive an event booth, link to sponsor website on Fiesta Day website, honorable mention during parade, logo on large event banner at event and logo displayed on event promotional material.

Silver Sponsor $500 – Sponsors in this category will receive an event booth, honorable mention during parade, logo on large event banner at event and logo displayed on event promotional material.

Bronze Sponsor $250 – Sponsors in this category receive logo on large event banner at event and logo displayed on event promotional material.

Sponsorship applications can be downloaded on the Fiesta Day Website at canyonlakefiestaday.org/sponsors.

Vendors

Being a vendor at Fiesta Day is a great way to promote a business. A 12-ft. by 12-ft. booth space is $95 for businesses and $60 for Canyon Lake POA sanctioned clubs. Adding electricity is an additional $15 per booth space.

Vendors must provide their own flame resistant labeled canopies (per California fire code 3104.3), tables and chairs. Generators must be “quiet type” and must comply with California Fire Code 3104.19.

Vendors are only permitted to sell and display the items on the application that have been approved by the committee. Anyone selling, giving away or displaying items not approved will be asked to remove those items from their booth. Vendors who do not comply will be required to leave with no refund and will not be allowed back the following year.

Food vendors at Fiesta Day is an exclusive opportunity available to only Canyon Lake POA sanctioned clubs.

Clubs and all other vendors interested in having a Fiesta Day booth should complete the application or download the application from the Fiesta Day website and submit it to the POA Activities department.

Applications are subject to review and approval by the Fiesta Day Committee. Applications will not be accepted without payment.

Spaces are limited. Once capacity is reached, businesses and clubs will be placed on a waiting list.

A mandatory Vendor Booth Meeting will be held on May 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the POA office.

In addition to the sponsorship opportunities, there are more than 100 booth spaces available this year. Booth spaces are 12-ft. by 12-ft. and should be decorated to fit the theme, “Fiesta Under The Big Top.” There will be a prize and blue ribbon given to the booth with the best display of this year’s theme.

Volunteers

The Fiesta Day Committee is seeking volunteers who are interested in helping plan the event or volunteer the day of the event. Those interested in helping should contact the Canyon Lake POA Activities department at 951-244-6841, ext. 610.
