Near and Far with The Friday Flyer: Gunters attend Auto Club 400

Pei Pei and Bobby Gunter, along with their son Jesse, daughter-in-law KK, grandson Keegan and friends Sue and Walt Popper, attended the Auto Club 400, a 400-mile Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series stock car race held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.

“The race is one of Jesse, KK and Keegan’s favorite things to watch. Joey Logano is their favorite driver, they’ve supported him for the past eight years,” said Pei Pei. “It was a treat for us to go and we enjoyed watching them get so excited as Joey raced around the track.”

The family enjoyed VIP seats, pit passes, buffet and meeting the winning driver, Martin Truex, Jr. “It was an amazing experience watching the super fast race cars thunder around the two-mile track,” said Pei Pei.
