Canyon Lake resident Christopher Fisher of Temescal High School was honored as March Student of the Month by the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce. He was among seven students feted at a recognition luncheon on Mar. 13. He told the audience his exceptionally high scholastic achievements were strongly influenced by his teacher Mr. Evans, who believes Chris’s intellectual capacity is a very special gift. Chris has doubled his efforts to excel in the comfort of that belief. Christopher has a 4.34 GPA and is involved in several school activities, including serving as treasurer of AVID, member of the California Scholarship Federation and member of the National Honor Society.
