JWC to host Charity Golf Tournament

The Canyon Lake Jr. Women’s Club invites golfers to mark their calendars for its 9th annual Charity Golf Tournament on Apr. 14. This event is open residents, non-residents and all levels of golfers.

Registration starts at 11 a.m., followed by a Putting Contest, driving range warm-up and Shotgun start at 1 p.m. The format is Four-Person Scramble. Entry fees are $100 per player. Canyon Lake Golf Course members pay $60. Entry fees include round of golf, golf cart rental and dinner. The cost for dinner only is $20.

There will be four complimentary contests: Hole in One, Longest Range, Closest to the Pin and Putting.

The day’s event will conclude with a cocktail reception at 5 p.m., followed by dinner, awards, raffle and a live auction at 6 p.m.

There are opportunities to participate in this fundraising event by sponsoring a hole or tee, donating items for the prize drawing and auction, and of course, playing. Sponsorships are available and range from $60 to $200.
