CLWC kicks off Fashion Show with pre-parties

The Canyon Lake Woman’s Club is gearing up for its Apr. 27 Sensational 70s Fashion Show with a number of Fashion Show pre-party fundraisers. The themes for the pre-parties are in keeping with the overall theme of the Fashion Show. This year’s pre-party themes are Disco Fever, I Dream of Jeannie and The Love Boat. Costumes are not mandatory but are encouraged. Membership in the Woman’s Club is not required to attend the pre-parties or the Fashion Show. All Canyon Lake women and their guests are welcome.

Admission to each pre-party is $10. The cost includes appetizers, one drink ticket and one entry into a drawing for a chance to win $500. Drawings are held at the Fashion Show. There will be a total of five $500 drawings.

Michele Paul hosted the first pre-party, Disco Fever, at her home on Mar. 8. Karen Bootow will be hosting the I Dream of Jeannie pre-party at her home on Thursday, Mar. 22 from 3 to 6 p.m. To RSVP for this party, contact Karen at 951-244-1437. Tickets to the Woman’s Club annual Fashion Show are $45, half of which is tax deductible. Due to the popularity of allowing people who bought an entire table (8 seats) to dress it up in keeping with the theme, the club has decided to allow it again this year.
