Boyds welcome new son

Bob and Pat Laugalis, residents of Canyon Lake since 1986, are proud to announce the birth of their grandson, Jaxon Douglas Boyd. Jaxon was born on Nov. 30 and weighed in at 7.7 pounds. His parents are Jason and Erica (Laugalis) Boyd of Fresno, California.

Erica and her sisters Breea and Emily grew up in Canyon Lake. Erica graduated from Temescal Canyon High School in 2003 before attending Humboldt State University to play soccer. She is a fifth-grade teacher in Fresno. Her husband Jason is a high school teacher.  Jaxon was welcomed home by his three-year-old brother Joel, who is thrilled to have a little brother and doesn’t want to let him out of his sight.

“We are so excited to have another boy in our family after raising all girls,” said Bob. Bob and Pat are grandparents to Kylan and Adalyne Laugalis, who reside in Unaderra, Australia, and are anxiously awaiting the birth of their little sister.
