In the field of Contemporary Jazz, Warren has been heard on recordings with Chieli Minucci, Keiko Matsui, Jeff Golub, Steve Oliver, Special EFX and John Tesh, to name a few, many of which became number one songs.

Warren’s solo CD’s and collaborations have topped 3 different charts: Pop, AC and Smooth Jazz, selling over a million copies worldwide. His incredibly dynamic live show is critically acclaimed as one of the best in his genre and has taken him to over 25 countries performing over 1,500 shows.

The Canadian born saxophonist’s new CD entitled “Under the Influence” is a collection of classic rock covers from the 70s featuring hits from iconic bands such as Aerosmith, Queen, and The Police.

Abrakadabra will take the stage first as the opening act for the Valentine’s Concert. From Oxnard’s Heritage Square to Oceanside’s Harbor Days to Temecula’s Balloon and Wine Festival to Indio’s International Tamale Festival and Garden Grove’s Strawberry Festival, Abrakadabra has been bringing its high energy, melodic, percussive and soulful tunes to audiences throughout Southern California for years.

Abrakadabra performs an extensive cover playlist including classic rock and soul, jazz, Latin and tropical songs, as well as a library of original compositions. Influenced by bands like Malo, War, El Chicano and Santana, Abrakadabra’s signature sounds fuse Latin, island, funk, reggae, pop and rock, while adding its own jazzy melodies and pop harmonies.

Abrakadabra’s leader, Jon Coleman, has received an L.A. Music award for Best Guitarist, a DIY National Producer of the Year award, and a runner-up USA Songwriting National Competition for Best Instrumental.

Tickets to the POA’s remaining 2018 concerts also are on sale now. The Surf City All Stars, featuring original Beach Boy David Marks and Dean Torrence of Jan and Dean, will perform at the lodge on Apr. 21. Country music artist Keith Anderson will perform at the lodge on June 30. Keith’s success prompted music trades Billboard and Radio & Records to name him country music’s No. 1 New Male Artist of 2005. VIP tickets cost $57; General Admission tickets cost $32;

Back by popular demand, new wave band Berlin will return to Canyon Lake on Sept. 15 for the fourth and final 2018 POA concert. Berlin performed to a sold-out audience at the lodge in June 2017, so fans will want to purchase tickets in advance to this concert.

Berlin gained mainstream-commercial success in the early 80s with singles “The Metro” and “No More Words.” In the mid-80s, Berlin topped the charts with their single “Take My Breath Away” from the 1986 film Top Gun.

The Berlin performance will be a mix of the band’s 80s classics peppered with tracks from their latest release. VIP tickets cost $57; General Admission tickets cost $32. Tickets to all the POA concerts can be purchased at the POA office and on the POA website.

The Concerts at the Lodge concert series are produced by Doug Schultz, concert manager for the Entercom San Diego radio stations who has worked with over 5,000 national acts in his concert career spanning 32 years. Doug urges residents to purchase concert tickets early to avoid not being able to purchase due to sold-out shows.
