After a short winter break, the Kids Club resumed its program on Jan. 16. On the first day back, the children learned about polar bears and the Arctic. The program included a movement song, book reading and a craft to take home. The children learned about walruses Jan. 23 and penguins during the program on Jan. 25.
This month, the children will learn about Groundhog Day, Valentine’s Day and dental health.
The Kids Club is a program in which young children and their parents or grandparents enjoy a morning of crafts, music, exercise, games, sports and a snack for just $2 per session. Those who purchase a 10-class punch card will receive two classes free. Punch cards can be purchased in class.
The program is led by Sarah Card and Christie Hall. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Pool View Room at the lodge. For more information, visit the club’s Facebook page.
