Saxophonist Warren Hill to perform at lodge

It’s not too early to start planning your Valentine’s Day. What better way to celebrate love than enjoying a romantic Valentine’s Concert featuring world-renowned saxophonist Warren Hill.

The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the lodge on Saturday, Feb. 10 – a perfect night for a date with your valentine.

VIP tickets are $57; General Admission tickets are $32. Tickets are available now at the POA office and on the POA website at canyonlakepoa.com.

With a career now in its 3rd decade, Warren’s solo CD’s and collaborations have topped 3 different charts: Pop, AC and Smooth Jazz, selling over a million copies worldwide.

Warren’s dynamic live show has brought him to over 25 countries performing over 1,500 shows.

The Canadian born saxophonist recently recorded a brand new CD entitled “Under the Influence,” a CD collection of classic rock covers from the 70s featuring hits from iconic bands such as Aerosmith, Queen, and The Police.

Doug Schultz, the promoter for the POA’s Concerts at the Lodge concerts, said, “This past summer I did a show at Valley View Casino with Warren Hill for 300 VIPs. His show was such a hit that the audience of high rollers gave him a five-minute standing ovation. That’s when I knew Warren Hill would make the perfect Valentine’s Concert act here in our 300 seat room.”

Tickets to the POA’s remaining 2018 concerts also are on sale now. The Surf City All Stars, featuring original Beach Boy David Marks and Dean Torrence of Jan and Dean, will perform at the lodge on April 21. VIP tickets are $67; General Admission tickets are $42.

Country music artist Keith Anderson will perform June 30. Keith has had several hit songs since 2004, including “Every Time I Hear Your Name.” His sophomore CD garnered the biggest hit of his career, “I Still Miss You,” which peaked at No. 2 and another Top 25 hit, “Sunday Morning in America.”

Keith’s success prompted music trades Billboard and Radio & Records to name him country music’s No. 1 New Male Artist of 2005. VIP tickets are $57; General Admission tickets are $32;

Back by popular demand, new wave band Berlin will return to Canyon Lake for the final concert on Sept. 15.

Berlin gained mainstream-commercial success in the early 80s with singles “The Metro” and “No More Words.” Berlin’s performance will be a mix of the band’s 80s classics peppered with tracks from their latest release. VIP tickets are $57; General Admission tickets are $32.
