Yee-haw, Canyon Cowboy is officially open

The Canyon Cowboy, a new restaurant and entertainment venue in the Canyon Lake Towne Center, has officially opened its doors. The restaurant’s owners, Ken and Brandie Newman, and their business partner, Jon Wynott, celebrated on with a Grand Opening event on Friday evening. The event featured live music by the band Young Guns, drinks specials and giveaways.

Canyon Lake Mayor Randy Bonner, Mayor Pro-Tem Vicki Warren and POA General Manager Eric Kazakoff all showed their support for Canyon Lake’s newest business by attending the event.

“We were completely blown away by the amount of people who joined us for our Grand Opening. It was a great night and we are so appreciative of the support we received from our community,” said Brandie.

The Canyon Cowboy offers entertainment seven days a week, southern-style food and craft cocktails. The menu is focused on comfort foods, shared appetizers and made from scratch signature entrees. Fried steak and chicken, gourmet burgers and seafood plates are some of the items on the menu. The atmosphere is family-friendly. After 9 p.m. only those 21-years-old and older are allowed.

Business hours are Monday through Thursday 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. Brunch is served from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the weekend.
