Canyon Lakers are invited to tour five beautifully decorated homes on Sunday, Dec. 3, during the Holiday Home Tour. The Holiday Home Tour, sponsored by the Canyon Lake Woman’s Club, is an annual event that dates back to 1973.

The theme of this year’s tour is “A Kentucky Derby Christmas at the Lake” and features the homes of Don and Patty Bonelli at 30254 Skippers Way Dr., Bruce and Ann Vazzana at 30266 Skippers Way Dr., Ron and Leigh Martel at 29728 Buggy Whip Ct., John and Sheryl Lewis at 23136 Gray Fox Dr. and Don and Pat Hunter at 30265 Hiding Bass Pl.

The tour begins at the lodge at 9 a.m. where guests can pick up maps, sample the signature cocktail, enjoy complimentary coffee and cookies, shop at the vendor boutique and purchase tickets for an opportunity drawing featuring 11 themed Christmas trees valued at a minimum of $200 each. The trees are decorated and donated by Woman’s Club members.

This is a self-guided tour, homes can be visited in any order. Tour hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and are 100 percent tax deductible. Tickets can be purchased at the POA Office, Coldwell Banker and Pack Wrap & Post in the Towne Center, from any Woman’s Club Board Member and at the lodge on the morning of the tour. Tickets are available for residents 12 years of age and older.

Opportunity drawing tickets for the Christmas trees are $5 for six tickets and can be purchased at the lodge on the day of the tour. The drawing will be held at 2:30 p.m. Winners need not be present to win. The trees are on display now at the lodge. For more information, contact Jan May at 951-970-8333.
