17th annual Holiday Boutique opens its doors this weekend

Canyon Lakers are invited to “shop till they drop” this weekend at the 17th annual Holiday Boutique. The two-day boutique runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is the time to shop for the holidays and the place to find just the right gift for a friend, family member, co-worker or hostess.

Sponsored by the Senior Center Work Group, this popular event features hundreds of handcrafted items. Along with the usual autumn and holiday decorations, Christmas trees and ornaments, there will be kitchen decor, crocheted tableware, jewelry, woodwork, children’s clothing, wall decor, knitted and quilted throws, afghans, hats and scarves, candles and aprons, to name a few. There will also be the ever-popular homemade gourmet jams, breads, candy and fudge.

Cash and checks will be accepted. Credit cards will be accepted for purchases of $50 or more.

Proceeds from the Holiday Boutique benefit activities at the senior center. For more information, contact Kathy Barbay at 951-805-3278 or Betty Cannavino at 951-244-4126.
