Here are Halloween events happening this weekend

Here is a list of Halloween events taking place Friday through Halloween evening. 

Friday, Oct. 27

The Family Matters Club is hosting “Pumpkins at the Park” at 3 p.m. at Sierra Park. Crafts will be provided.

Santa Rosa Academy, 27587 La Piedra Rd., Menifee, is hosting a Trunk or Treat from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Storm Stadium, 500 Diamond Dr., Lake Elsinore is hosting Field of Screams through Oct. 31. This year’s event features four new mazes, new horrors and new characters. Zombie Outbreak Lazer Tag has also been added. Hours are 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased online at hauntedstadim.com.

Peltzer Pumpkin Farm, 29925 Calle Contento, Temecula, is hosting and adult only  Costume Party at 8 p.m. This event features food trucks, candy and wine pairings and costume contest. Tickets are $10 and include a glass of smoking sangria.

Saturday, Oct 28

Menifee is hosting its Fall Festival at Audie Murphy Ranch Sports Park, 30376 Lone Pine Dr., Menifee. This event features trick-or-treating, food, craft vendors, kids zone, community performances, live entertainment, costume contest and beer garden featuring craft beer from local breweries. Costume contest registration begins at 3 p.m. Live entertainment by Midnight Divide at 6:30 p.m. and Kanan Road at 8 p.m.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 26800 Newport Rd., Menifee, is hosting a Trunk or Treat Car Show with a retro Halloween theme at 5 p.m. This event will feature hot rods, candy, costumes and crafts. Those who would like to participate in the Car Show should bring candy, chair and decorations for your trunk. For more information, call the church office at 951-672-6675.

Lamb’s Fellowship, 21901 Railroad Canyon Rd. is hosting a Trunk or Treat from 6 to 8 p.m. This event features trunk or treating, bounce houses, petting zoo, games, Charlie Brown movie and more.

Pins n Pockets bowling alley is having a Halloween Costume Party. Kids costume party on the lanes is at 6:30 p.m.; adult costume contest at 10 p.m. No masks allowed except during judging.

The Bad Dancers will be rockin’ the lodge on Saturday. Costumes are welcomed.

STAT Horse Sanctuary, 31530 Scott Rd., Winchester, is hosting a Pet Costume Contest on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event features a pet costume contest and parade, prizes, food, photo booth, raffles, vendors and play zone. Contest begins at 1 p.m. and is $15 per entry.

Marna O’Brien Park, 20505 Palomar St., Wildomar, is hosting a Trunk or Treat from 5 to 8 p.m. Dress in costume and trick-or-treat at the trunks of local organization and businesses.

Sunday, Oct. 29

Big Horse Corn Maze and Harvest Festival, 33320 Temecula Parkway, Temecula, runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features an 11- acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, pony rides, hay rides, pig races, rock wall, free contest, and more. Kids and pet costume contest begins at 1 p.m. The cost for the maze only is $9. Maze and three activities is $15. The maze is free for children two and under.

Monday, Oct. 30

The Murrieta Public Library, 8 Town Square, is hosting Night of the Mummy from 6 to 7 p.m. Unravel the secrets of ancient Egypt in this fun-filled, hands-on exploration of mummies, hieroglyphs and ancient curses. This event is for children ages three to 12.

Tuesday, Oct 31

Calvary Church, 33005 Canyon Hills Rd., Lake Elsinore, is hosting its annual Fall Festival Carnival on Halloween from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This event offers activities, games and free food.

The Salvation Army in Murrieta, 40270 Los Almos Rd., is hosting a Trunk or Treat Harvest Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. This event features trick-or-treating, carnival games, crafts and food.

Put on your Halloween costume and join Charlie Brown and Snoopy on The Great Pumpkin Patch Express at the Orange Empire Railway Museum. This event runs Saturday and Sunday. Tickets $15 for ages two to 11; $25 for adults. For reservations and details, call 951-943-3020.
