Canyon Lake Kids Club celebrates Halloween

The Kids Club’s October themes were National Bullying Prevention, National Dental Hygiene and Halloween. On Tuesday, Oct. 17, the number five was added to the morning numbers. Children also made crafts and were treated to a reading of Pete the Cat Five Little Pumpkins.

Children were treated to a reading of The Hallo-wiener on Thursday, Oct. 19. Craft time included making paper bag costumes to take home.

November’s themes will be Dia de Muertos, Thanksgiving and Fall.

Kids Club is a program in which young children and their parents or grandparents enjoy a morning of crafts, music, exercise, games, sports and a snack for just $2 per session. Those who purchase a 10-class punch card will receive two classes free. Punch cards can be purchased in class. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Pool View Room at the lodge. Visit the club’s Facebook page for more information.
