Residents invited to Ribbon Cutting for Pickleball Courts

The POA invites residents to attend the Pickleball Courts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 6  p.m.  A raffle for gift cards will be held and light refreshments will be provided. Free lessons will be given after the ceremony to those interested in learning more about pickleball.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. The game is played with a paddle and a baseball size wiffleball. Generally, play is doubles.

The Pickleball Club’s social play days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 8 to 10 a.m. and 6 to 10 p.m.; open play days are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 10 a.m. with one court being reserved for beginners and clinics.
