Golf cart accident results in fire, injury

On Saturday, Sept. 30, at 7:02 p.m. CAL FIRE responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a golf cart on its side at Longhorn Drive and Tumbleweed Dr. Seven firefighters responded.

The first arriving engine company reported one golf cart “fully involved with fire.”

According to spokesperson Tawny Cabral, AMR transported one victim to an area hospital by ground ambulance with moderate injuries. There were no other injuries reported.
