Women’s Golf Club announces annual tournament winners

The Women’s Golf Club held its annual Couples Eclectic Golf Tournament on Aug. 8  and Aug. 15. The event was co-chaired by Ina Pickard, Linda Kamashian and Mimi LaRosa.

The winners are as follows:

Overall Gross: Mary Burns and Carlos Yebra.

Overall Net: K.K. and Jesse Beecher.

Gross A Flight winners:  Terry and Inga Loy.

Net A Flight winners: Chuck and Ura Furry.

Gross B Flight winners: Joe and Linda Kamashian.

Net B Flight Winners:  Barry Talbot and Donna Nunes.

Gross C Flight winners: Chuck and Linda Hudson.

Net C Flight winners: Linda Johnson and Don Norris.

The club would like to thank Norma Yarbrough and Donna Nunes for their creative and fun decorations for the baseball-themed tournament, Christina Barton and the country club staff for lunch, Pat Kemball and his staff for handling  setting up the flights and handling the cards and scoring, and the 50 golfers who participated in the tournament.
