Cub Scout Pack 346 welcomes back firefighters

Cub Scout Pack 346 welcomed back the firefighters of Canyon Lake Fire Station 60 with a tour of the station and fire engine.

Scouts and their siblings were able to see how a station runs, view the inside of the fire engine, run the water hose and try on equipment. To thank their hometown heroes, the boys left notes and treats for the fire fighters.

Pack 346 is kicking off its annual Popcorn Fundraiser on Aug. 19. The sales from this event helps to fund activities for campouts and other activities.

Last year, Jalepeno Cheddar and Caramel corn were top picks. The scouts are also accepting donations for popcorn for men and women in the military. For more information, email cubscout346mom@gmail.com.

Pack 346 serves Canyon Lake, Canyon Hills and Tuscany Hills and is for boys in kindergarten through 5th grades. Pack 346 will be kicking off its scouting year on Aug. 27, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Lamb’s Fellowship, 21901 Railroad Canyon Rd., Lake Elsinore, 92532. Those interested in joining should attend the meeting. For more information, email socal0pack346@gmail.com.
