The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses and individuals organized to encourage a strong local economy and quality of life by promoting and advancing the community, civic, cultural and educational development of the Canyon Lake area while providing a valuable forum for issues affecting local commerce and the general well-being of the community. Toastmasters Club

The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Toastmasters Club meets every Tuesday from 12:05 to 1:05 p.m. in the Council Chamber at city hall. The group works on public speaking and leadership skills. For more information, contact Maureen Smith at 951-566-7185 or visit canyonlake.toastmastersclubs.org

Oktoberfest

The Chamber invites the community to celebrate the 7th Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 30, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Canyon Lake Towne Center parking lot. This popular community event will feature traditional food, beer and wine, live music, a kids zone, contests and vendors.

Parade of Frights

The chamber will host the 25th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Towne Center. This community-wide event will feature trick-or-treating at the Towne Center businesses, a parade around the Towne Center, live music, costume contests and a kids zone. Thunder, the Storm Stadium mascot, will lead the parade. Vendor and event sponsorship applications are also available at Pack, Wrap & Post in the Towne Center.
