Rehab wins third consecutive league championship

Canyon Lake Coed Softball League hosted its bi-annual championship playoff games on Sunday, May 21. The top six teams, which use colors to differentiate themselves, were the White, Blue, Black, Pink, Red and Teal teams.

Over the course of the day, five games were played at Gault Field with teams battling the heat and each other. In the end, team White, also known at “Rehab”, was victorious over team Black, known as “Blackout.”

This is Rehab’s third consecutive league championship. They’ve won six championships in the past nine years.

“Congratulations to Rehab and all who fought for the 2017 spring title,” said Rehab player Gina Pinto.

Team Rehab would like to thank Chet Johnston for umpiring the season and the Softball Board, including Ryan Parent, Allison Hill and Rehab Manager Nancy Pinto.
