Hydrofoiler surprises girlfriend with lake proposal

Local hydrofoilers Kevin Thayer and Jamie Devine were engaged on May 23. Kevin surprised Jamie with a proposal while she was foiling on the lake. “I came up behind her with the sign, she didn’t see it coming,” said Kevin. Once the couple boarded the boat, Kevin presented Jamie with a ring. “We are so happy. She is glowing,” he said.

The couple have been dating for 10 months. They are planning a small wedding in the fall of 2018.
