Youths invited to participate in summer Junior Golf Camp

The Canyon Lake summer Junior Golf Camp will return to the golf course July 10 through July 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The camp is for children ages 5 to 17.  The cost for the week is $35 per golfer, which includes instructions, awards, prize and barbeque. The barbeque will be held on Friday July 14 at 2 p.m.

Golf Camp is hosted by the Pro Shop staff. Instructors will focus on different techniques from putting and chipping to pitching and driving. Children will be divided by age and skill level.

In addition to Golf Camp, the Canyon Lake Golf Course offers golf lessons and a golf program for young golfers.

Golf lessons are $25 for a 30 minute session; $100 for five 30 minute sessions; $40 for a one hour session; $100 for three one hour sessions. Sign ups are taken at the Pro Shop.

The golf program is a level based program for children ages 5 to 17. Registration is $100; monthly fees are $60. For more information, contact Bryan Carlson at carlsonb@pga.com or sign up at the Pro Shop.
