The Canyon Lake Bassmasters held its annual Jr. Bassmasters Tournament on Sunday, April 9. Six junior anglers between the ages of 11 to 15 years old competed for a chance to move on to the state finals on the California Delta on May 28.
In first place was Logan Flynn with a total of 13.92 pounds of fish. Logan also caught a 4.24 pound fish, earning him the “Big Fish of the Day” title.
Baylee Nichols earned second place with 10.92 pounds of fish.
Third place went to Dino Santo who caught 9.42 pounds. Jake Nelson nabbed fourth place with 5.02 pounds.
These four junior anglers will move on to the state finals. The winner of state finals that tournament will move on to the Jr. World Championship in Columbia, South Carolina, in August.
