The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses and individuals organized to encourage a strong local economy and quality of life by promoting and advancing the community, civic, cultural and educational development of the Canyon Lake area while providing a valuable forum for issues affecting local commerce and the general well-being of the community.

Golf Tournament

The Chamber invites the public to participate in its annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, May 20. Registration begins at 10 a.m., followed by special contests, shotgun start at noon, annual Ball Drop, dinner, awards and raffles.

This year’s registration form has three flights: Open, Senior (60+ all participants) and Jack & Jill (2 women, 2 men). Registration is $100 per player; Canyon Lake Golf Course members pay only $65. Registration includes rounds of golf, golf cart fee and dinner. The cost to attend dinner only is $25.

Completed registration form and payment made payable to the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce should be mailed to the Chamber at 31566 Railroad Canyon Rd., Canyon Lake, CA. 92587. Participants also may sign up at the Golf Pro Shop and Pack, Wrap and Post.

Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from sponsoring a tee or special contest to donating a gift basket for the raffle.

Proceeds from this event will go toward the Canyon Lake Junior Golf Program. Gabe Hrab, the PGA pro who started the Jr. Golf Program in 1980, will be in attendance. For more information, contact Alison Burrafato at the Chamber office at 951-244-6124 or canyonlakechamber@outlook.com.

Toastmasters Club

The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Toastmasters Club meets every Tuesday, 12:05 to 1:05 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall. The group works on public speaking and leadership skills. For more information, call Maureen Smith at 951-566-7185.
