In Memoriam: Ronald “Ronnie” H. Roberts

7Ronnie, 75, passed away peacefully in his sleep March 8, 2017 in Yucaipa, California. Ronnie lived in San Bernardino County since the early 1960s. He was one of 13 children. He owned Inland Empire 4-Wheel Drive in San Bernardino for more than 20 years. He also worked at 4-West in Colton for more than 20 years. He finished the last 10 years of his working career with Padgett’s Cleaning and Restoration in Redlands, California. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Ronnie also served as a Green Beret in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was always the center of attention and life of the party.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Joyce; his children Julie Padgett and her husband Tim; Jeff Roberts and his wife, Melissa; Loni Roberts; step-daughter Leslie Guyton and her husband Gary; Gary Ganter and his wife Marcia; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by nine of his siblings whom he loved dearly.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands. Memorial service will be held at on Thursday, March 16 at 10 a.m. at Wildwood Calvary Chapel, 35145 Oak Glen Rd., Yucaipa. Graveside services will immediately follow at Hillside Memorial Park, 1540 Alessandro Rd., Redlands.
