Letter: Turkeys on the Loose

On Saturday, November 12, the Women’s Golf Club hosted “Turkeys on the Loose,” its annual fall Jack and Jill Tournament. The committee of Clair Bond, Lila Gann, Sue Hoover and Inga Loy extend their thanks to everyone who helped the tournament to run as smoothly as it did. Pat Kemball and his staff in the Pro Shop did all the hard work of scoring and announcing all the winners for us. Course Superintendent Mark Louder and his staff did a beautiful job on over-seeding the course to make it look like a five-star resort. Many thanks to the Country Club staff who prepared and served us a delicious turkey luncheon with all the fixings.
