Mommy N Me Club enjoys play dates and more

The newly sanctioned Mommy n Me Club kicked off in September with registration day. The club has 17 moms and 20 pre-school and toddler aged children. In October, the club visited a local horse ranch in La Cresta where members received an up-close tour of the ranch and horses. They also  visited Peltzer Farms Pumpkin Patch in Temecula where members enjoyed the petting zoo and picked out their own pumpkins to bring home.

In early November, the club visited the children’s center Child’s Play in Temecula where the kids were entertained from the moment they entered. Later this month the club is having a toddler style “Friendsgiving” at Sierra Park where the children will enjoy a friendly feast, craft time and park playtime.

The club will have extra special holiday events planned for members in December. Spokesperson Leslie Ann Geer says, “It’s been a very fun and exciting semester so far.”

Mommy n Me is for toddlers and pre-school aged children and their moms. Monthly meetings are on the first and third Fridays from 9 to 11 a.m. The club meets at different places locally for organized play dates. Spokesperson Leslie Ann Geer says, “It’s a safe and fun environment for children and their mommies to make lasting friendships while enjoying organized play dates.” The club is no longer accepting registrations for this semester, but will start up a new semester on January 20, 2017.
