Blacky and Brownie


Blacky is a black and white 6-year-old Terrier Mix neutered male. His caretakers say he is a very sweet boy and has an amazing personality. He gets along great with dogs, cats and kids. He likes to play outside but also enjoys just laying around and relaxing. Blacky is ready to be adopted now. His Intake number is 316876 and his reference picture number is 5651.

Brownie is a tri-colored 4-year-old Siamese Mix spayed female. Her caretakers say she is a very sweet and loving girl who is litter-box trained and gets along with other cats and kids. She is ready to go now and can’t wait to find her “fur” ever home. Her adoption fee is just $5. Brownie’s intake number is 320095, and her reference picture number is 6671.

All dog and cat adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up. All cats/kittens, pitbulls and Chihuahua adoptions are just $5 (spay/neuter fees, if applicable, are additional).

Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services.

Residents can help save animals that would otherwise be put down by providing temporary housing through AFV’s foster program.
