K-9 Club hosts its first community event

The newly sanctioned K-9 Club hosted a howl of a costume contest for the community last Sunday, October 30. The club rounded up the pack at East Port Park, the home of the new Dog Park.

The competition was fierce. President Judy Pruett, along with Leigh Clark and Paul and Stacy Queen, had the “ruff” job of judging the costumes of the fury friends.

Delilah was named the winner of the “Craziest” costume, Snoopy won in the “Cutest” category and Bella and Buddy took home ribbons for having the “Most Original” costumes. Chumlee, Jaxx and Brody were the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place “Over All” winners.
