PLAN prepares meals for 100 women

People Living Alone Now (PLAN) is a mission of Priscilla Circle. It is one of six women’s circles at Canyon Lake Community Church. On Saturday, October 22, about 30 women prepared meals in the church’s gymnasium for 100 women who are mostly seniors and living alone. The event is held at the church three times a year. The program consists of music, speakers, door prizes and fellowship.

Priscilla Circle members contact PLAN members during the year on their birthdays, send holiday cards and keep the fellowship alive all year long. Approximately one-third of PLAN members live in Canyon lake, the rest come from surrounding cities. Membership at Canyon Lake Community Church is not required to belong to PLAN.
