Dogs invited to be in Halloween Costume Contest

The newly sanctioned Canyon Lake K-9 Club invites residents and their dogs to to participate in a Halloween Costume Contest for dogs on Sunday, October 30, from 5 to 6 p.m. at East Port Park, the home of the new dog park.

“The K-9 club is excited about hosting its first event as a club and we’re hoping for a great turnout,” says Judy Pruett, the K-9 club president.

Ribbons and prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the categories of cutest, most original and scariest. This is a free event and one does not have to be a member of the K-9 Club to enter.
