Letter: Scouts Thank Community

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

Cub Scout Pack 346 would like to thank the many Canyon Lake residents who stopped by our popcorn booths at Stater Brothers in August and September, or purchased from Scouts in the neighborhood. We are happy to state that we exceeded our $10,000 goal in sales and donations.

We look forward to a fun year of activities for our Scouts, service to our community and opportunities to improve our pack’s current supplies for events and camp outs. Additionally, we were able to raise over $500 for “Popcorn for the Military,” which our Scouts will distribute to local veterans and military in November. While our local popcorn sales are over, popcorn and coffee can still be purchased online.
