The reservation deadline for Resident Appreciation Golf Day at the Golf Course and Country Club is tomorrow, October 15. The inaugural event is scheduled for next Saturday, October 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is free and designed for residents who don’t already have a golf membership. Attendees will be able to meet other residents and staff, partake in fun activities and enjoy a complimentary barbecue.
Other activities include games, raffle to win a golf lesson with a pro, free use of range balls and golf clubs, family photos on the green and a guided tour of the Golf Course. Walking and golf cart tours will be available.
The complimentary barbecue will include hamburgers, cheeseburgers, barbecued chicken sandwiches, chips and a drink. The Country Club will be offering a special “Club-Bunker” cocktail for $5.25
During the barbecue, volunteers from each golf club, including Junior Golf, will be on hand to answer question.
Kathy Sanchez, the publicity chair for 9ers Golf Club, says, “We’ve all worked very hard and are hoping to get record participation from the community since this is the first event of its kind. Our Golf Course is one of the most pristine courses in the Temecula Valley, and it’s right in our backyard. If you have never had the opportunity to see this beautiful amenity, come out for a stroll or ride – you will be amazed. “
