Marga Kidd

Marga, a Canyon Lake resident since 1989, has been a member of the Tennis Club for many years. She’s served as the club’s president for the last four years. Her volunteer work in the club includes building up the tennis program, assisting the tennis pros, coordinating the Junior Program and organizing classes and lessons.

Each year, the club provides scholarships to local high school students, collects clothes for veterans and donates turkeys and toys to HOPE (Helping Our People of Elsinore). The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce named the Tennis Club “Organization of the Year” in 2014.

In addition to her volunteer work with the Tennis Club, Marga is a member of the Car Club and Pickleball Club, and a former member of the Motorcycle Club. She has served on the Tennis Facilities Committee, the Activities Committee and the Recreation Committee.

Earlier this year, Marga volunteered as a judge for the Miss Canyon Lake Scholarship Pageant. Serving as a team mom, chairing Senior Night and feeding the football team weekly meals are among her volunteer work at Temescal Canyon High School.
