Letter: PJammin Day

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

I’m writing this publicly so I don’t chicken out.

Our next City Council meeting is on October 12. At the meeting I will propose Canyon Lake have a city-wide “PJammin Day” on November 8, which is Election Day. No need to dress up to come to the polls. In fact, voting in your pajamas will be encouraged. (I bet you’ve never done that before).

Hopefully the Council will agree that this is a worthwhile project to support childhood cancer awareness.

I won’t feel quite so foolish if other people join me in dressing down for the October 12 meeting and when casting my ballot on November 8.
