Joe Washle

Joe Washle has been an active volunteer in the community since moving to Canyon Lake in 2002. He is a member of the Travel Club and Men’s Golf Club, and a sponsoring member of the Fine Arts Guild. For the past three years Joe has served on the Tuesday Work Group (TWG) board and as treasurer on the Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) board.

The dedicated volunteer has been serving on the POA Finance Committee for the past four years, two of them as chair, and served two previous years on the POA Rules and Regulations Committee.

Joe, a retiree who enjoys golf, has spent countless hours volunteering for Canyon Lake golf clubs and committees. His involvement includes serving as a liaison and president on the Green Committee, serving three years as treasurer for the Canyon Lake  Association of Past Presidents (CLAPPS), serving two years as the Wednesday tournament director, serving one year as the treasure for the Men’s Golf Club, and serving the past 11 years as the treasurer for the Spring Classic Golf Outing.

When asked about being a volunteer, Joe says, “ I was taught that one must give back to  community. I’ve tried to live by that principle.”
