Canyon Lake has quite a few trees. Many are very tall. Most, at some point in time, need to be trimmed. Pat Van Dyke took this photo of a tree trimmer in action saying, “a job I’d never apply for!”

A motor-powered hang glider (also known as paramotor) was seen flying across the lake several times last month. It was flown by Paolo Frezza, seen in this photo by Dave Guthery near the North Causeway.

Ryan Medford, at right, a third generation Canyon Laker, had dinner with his parents at the Lodge recently. Ryan’s grandparents moved to Canyon Lake in the 1970s and his parents in the 1980s. Ryan and his brother, Matt, were born and raised in the community.
