CLMS’ new 2016-17 Cheer Team announced

Cheer Coach Tammy Howard says 31 “amazing girls” were selected to be members of the CLMS Cheer Team for the 2016-2017 school year. “This is one of our most talented groups of girls yet and the coaches are so excited to get started and see what these girls can do,” says Tammy.

The group will start practices July 13 and they will attend a three-day summer cheer camp in July with TSC (The Spirit Consultants).

Eighteen of the 31 girls are from Canyon Lake. They are Captain Chloe Albright, Captain Sailor Boden, Captain Emma Lewis, Rebe Andersen, Ryn Andersen, Kendayl Baine, Karissa Bennett, Alyah Cardenas, Caylee Coughlin, Kyleigh Dilucchio, Rylee Fullerton, Brooke Helbock, Kylie Hill, Rula Katsouridis, Zoe Kays, Sydney Manning, Lexie Plasch and Tori Quinn.

Other members of the team are are Captain Sophia Colson, Allie Brockie, Kaitlyn Dabbs, Alyssa DeVera, Jaylin Gordon, Daysia Kee, Callie Klaas, Mariah Morris, Elisabeth Paredes, Jaelyn Pelton, Kaley Pelton, Natalie Ramirez and Katelynn Stout.

Coaches are Tammy Howard and Colleen Stevens. Kendall Howard is the competition coach and choreographer.

Important August Dates

Here are some important dates for CLMS:

6th grade parent information night is August 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the CLMS multi-purpose room (no students please).

8th grade schedule pickup day is  August 4, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

7th grade schedule pickup day is August 5, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

6th grade schedule pick up day – August 8, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

First day of school is August 10. It is a minimum day, with school starting at 7:40 a.m. and release at 12:54 p.m.

Tammy says it is important for parents of returning LEUSD students to go online and complete the annual registration update. Parents of brand new students to LEUSD need to go online and complete a new registration. Please visit www.leusd.k12.ca.us.
