All are welcome to join in on Travel Club trips

Canyon Lakers are invited to participate in Travel Club functions, even when not sponsored by a member. The Travel Club posts their upcoming day trips and multi-day trips on their website and in the Club News section of The Friday Flyer.

If an upcoming activity looks appealing, call the person in charge of the event and arrangements can be made to attend. Plus, the club always welcomes new members! Here are some of the upcoming events:

  • July 24 is the date for the Hornblower Brunch Cruise on San Diego Bay. This two-hour narrated tour includes free-flowing champagne, brunch buffet and a decadent dessert bar. Sights include the Coronado Bay Bridge, the Star of India, the North Island Naval Station and the barking sea lions at Point Loma. Member’s cost is $109 and guests are $114. Pickup and return to the Lodge by bus is provided. Only 30 reservations will be taken and must be received by July 1. Nyla Finch is the contact, 951-757-6760.
