Letter: Fashion Show Thanks

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

Thank you to all the wonderful, hardworking women (as well as the husbands who got roped in to assist) for a job well done, indeed. Our 2016 “At the Movies” Fashion Show was a huge success, not only financially, but it was also enjoyed by over 200 women.

Our Fashion Show chairs, Lyne Hall and Alise Lawrence, worked tirelessly on this event for months. Kudos to them for its success, as well as the many, many committee members who made this a wonderful event. Many thanks to the vendors and service providers who placed ads in our programs and donated goods and services – we really appreciate your generosity.

The models were beautiful, the clothes were lovely. Even the food from the Lighthouse was delicious, and we thank the wait staff for their service. As always, we are so appreciative of The Friday Flyer for their many articles promoting our show.

Again, there are too many to adequately list, but know that you went a long way in assisting us to donate our annual amount of $30,000 to $40,000 to philanthropic charities and scholarships!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I am proud to be affiliated with such a great club!
