Ladies invited to ‘At the Movies’ Fashion Show

Members of the Woman’s Club continue to benefit from the creative and fun hospitality shown at the Fashion Show pre-parties. A recent party on March 31, held at the home of Suzi Delia, had a “Wizard of Oz” theme, with the wizard himself, Bob Templeton, in attendance.

Wizard Bob initially was hidden behind a pair of emerald green curtains with a sign that read, “Please ignore the man behind the curtain.” And then he sprang out and did a skit involving the wicked witches and other characters.

Ways and Means Chair Lyne Hall says, “It was loads of fun and we had several younger ladies in attendance who belong to other clubs and have now become members of the Woman’s Club, which I personally am very pleased about as it was a goal of mine going into my two-year stint as the Ways and Means Chair.”

The club is looking forward to the Fashion Show on Friday, April 29, at the Lodge. This year’s theme is “At the Movies.” All ladies of the community are invited. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased from Sue Collins by calling 951-246-2773.

The final Fashion Show pre-party will be held Friday, April 22, at 6 p.m. at the home of Lyne Hall. The theme will be “South Pacific,” with an appearance by the Crazy Coconuts. Gentlemen welcome. To RSVP, call Lyne at 951-244-2101.
