Here’s a gift idea from 9ers Golf Club

The Canyon Lake 9er’s Women’s Golf Club invites Canyon Lakers to give the gift of Beginning Golf Lessons to the special woman in their life. The four weekly lessons will be given January 20 to February 10, from 10 to 11 a.m., for a total cost of $100.

The 9ers Golf Club will sponsor refreshments immediately following the final lesson. At that time, there also will be a drawing for a private, hour-long lesson with Head Golf Pro Pat Kemball. Sign up at the Canyon Lake Pro Shop.

Spokesperson Kathy Sanchez offers a special “thank you” to JC Taylor and her Christmas Tree decorating crew, Linda Kielty, Teresa Roberson and Margie Villaluz, for their work on the club’s median Christmas tree. Adorned with golf clubs and balls, the tree can be seen at the intersection of Burning Tree and Canyon Lake Dr. South.

The 9ers Golf Club is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association. The group meets in the Magnolia Room at 9:30 a.m. each Thursday before heading out to play nine holes of golf.
